The City of Elizabeth in partnership with Clean Communities Coalition hosted a Citywide Clean Up with over 150 participants including PSEG, Elizabethtown Gas, Waste Management, Elizabeth Public Schools, DPW, and more. This annual event mobilized residents, community groups, corporations, and volunteers to beautify their neighborhood and public spaces across 6 miles, collected 190 bags worth of trash. The Port Authority and Groundwork Elizabeth Team collected 173lbs of trash in Caldwell Park. Opening remarks included Mayor Christian Bollwage, Commissioner Sergio Granados, Congressman Rob Menendez and Councilwoman Pat Perkins.
